Car alarm wiring?
i am preparing to install my first alarm in my 2002 ford explorer and i recently purchased an alarm from ebay. my problem is understanding their wiring diagram. what does " Indicator lights" mean? are they the headlights or parking lights? do i need to use a relay? my second question is, for the installation of the door locks, the manuel shows six wires and two for door locking, and two for unlocking, i dont know the function of the other two wires. there is nothing stating for positive or negative systems. do i have to connect both unlock wires from the alarm and both lock wires from the alarm then set up the relay?, or just use one of each? why would the manuel show two unlock and lock wires?

Where do I connect the car alarm wires?
I have an Escort Gti and am fitting an alarm. Does anyone know if the boot is positive trigger and if so,where d I connect this part of the alarm? Also, is the central locking positive or negative trigger and where do I connect this part of the alarm? Presumably the drivers side module, but what colour wires? The car is UK spec. Thanks.

The wire's that came with my car alarm are just bare wires. They are plastic parts with a flat piece of metal in the middle male that go into the female part that is attached to my car's wiring. Anyone know where I can get more ? cause one fell off.
