Where is the best place to buy car security systems online or in store?
I recently got jacked for my car stereo system about a week ago and i need to know of some good alarm systems and where to get them from and installed. Also want to know if it would be easier to just install myself because my truck is a manual and doesnt have power locks or windows. Thanks

i bought a 16 year old car and it came with an aftermarket i think security system called Phoenix III. it works, but i just need to buy the remote so i can arm and disarm it. but i looked this system up and can find NOTHING on it. how can i get that remote? or should i just buy a new system?

So I need a car security system soon. I need some suggestions on what type of system to get.First I was looking at a car security system with the alarm but no remote start. Of course these are cheaper than the remote starts. Second the remote start is nice because it starts your car, has a security system most of them , and they're more expensive. I really want the remote start with the alarm system, but I don't know if I should pay between $300 $500 for an alarm system. I have my factory alarm, but I really need a more secure system. Python car security system goes off when a truck goes past it?
I have a python 474P ar security system that I got installed from Circuit city 2 years back. I don't have the specs nor the knowledge on how it works. The problem I am facing is that the alarm goes off whenever a truck like a garbage Tuck goes by it. I am trying to adjust the sensor but do not know where it is located and how it looks like. Any advise please?
Know how to disarm an old car security system--Freedom F-300?
I have a 1997 Honda Accord that has an after market security system Freedom F 300 by Omega . I don't have the buttons for the security system. When I start the car, the doors lock automatically. Today, they locked but the system kept trying to lock over and over. Does anyone know how to disarm this thing? I assume not, but I thought I'd ask anyhow. Thanks.

I have been looking at car security systems online and I was wondering im anyone had any experience with them. I am looking for a system that has a pager to let me know if my car is being messed with along with the alarm. What is a duel shock sensor and I heard it doesnt work with tinted windows? Any suggestions?
Car security system turns ON on hot summer day without any reason?
My car is toyota camry 1998 with dealer installed security system. On hot summer days, my car security system turns ON everyday without touching it. Its sensors get activated automatically due to very hot temperature and then car starts beeping with loud noise. MY apt. people have given me warnings too. Question is what can be wrong in the secuirty system which turns it ON due to high temperature?

i want to buy a security system for my car, and i want to get one that has the keyless entry feature, what im wondering is, if my doors dont have an automatic lock on them right now, will i still be able to install the keyless entry thing, or do i have to get automatic locks first?I also just bought a trunk release kit and i was just wondering if i could hook that up to the security system as well. I have a toyota 4 runner, & the security system use 2 never bother us it didn't reallt work, but when we got the car into the shop for a tune up they did something so know if I get into my car I have to start it or the alarm will go off, even if I just need in there quick It's a pain in the ass so if anyone can help PLEASE let me know
