1999 Toyota Camry factory car alarm?
i have the factory installed anti theft system or whatever its called, but when i unlock or lock the doors, the doors unlock lock and the lights flash, but theirs no noise like a beep or the horn honking. i wanted to know if there was a noise i can turn on or if that's just the way it is. thanks

Aftermarket car alarm draw on battery?
i don't drive my car often. maybe once every 2 weeks on average. will installing an aftermarket alarm be enough draw to kill my battery in a 2 week period of time of no use?
1990 Mazda Miata MX-5 car alarm?
I just bought a 1990 Mazda Miata. I believe this is a " package B" Miata. My problem is the alarm that came with it keeps arming itself that the siren would just go off without it being " triggered" . I don't want the alarm to be an annoyance to my neighbors so I cut the wire that goes to the siren. I am aware that this is not the solution to the problem. I want to completely un install the alarm system but have no idea what kind of alarm I have. previous owner doesn't have the manual . Can someone tell me what kind do I have. The setup is a 2 button type remote w I & II on the buttons, a blinking red light on the center console just above the cup holder. It is not a keyless remote since the door locks are manually operated. My main concern is I don't know if this alarm comes with a starter kill switch, I know for sure that there are " triggers" installed on the hood, 2 doors and trunk of the car. Can someone please help me with instruction to properly uninstall this alarm. Thanks.
Is it possible to install a car alarm and central locking system seperately?
Im trying to save cost when hiring someone to install it my car alarm system. Ive been looking around and it seems that you can only get installation service if you buy the car alarm system off them which makes sense of youre trying to make good money. so instead im thinking about buying a cheaper central locking system off ebay then buy a car alarm system off the installation service provider and ask them to install the central locking system I bought off ebay and the car alarm system off them. This would save me cost of buying the central lokcing system and the car alarm itself from the installation service provider which would be really expensive.so Is this a good idea?ps. Im replacing my existing central locking system because I lost my central locing remote so I have to replace the whole thing.

I have an aftermarket car alarm on a 98 Eclipse that just keeps going off. I can't find the brand name and the key fob only has buttons 1,2,3,4. I tried to pull the fuses but it still goes off, even when I'm driving. I just want to know how to disable it since I don't have the money to get it taken out. PLEASE HELP ME
Car Alarm doesn't work after accident?
I drive a 2002 Isuzu Trooper that has a stock car alarm system, if it makes any diff it's a 4x4 3.5L. A few months ago I played with the anti theft system to see how it works, pretty simple really...lock the doors with the clicker I would leave the windows down to test it and then reach over and manually unlock the door and the car alarm would go off.Anyways, a month or so ago I was involved in a fender bender in which a big Dodge Dakota rear ended me. My spare tire mounted on the back absorbed all the damage and transferred it to the back door. After dealing with insurance and what not I decided to keep the car, the repair shop actually cut around the back door's handle so that they could get to the insides of the handle and get it unstuck. Basically now the door works as good as it used to except I have to reach in and manually unlock it to open it, the auto unlock via clicker doesn't unlock it. My question is, sometimes when I play around with the back door I can coax the car into activating the Anti theft system there's a little red light by the steering wheel , but most times it won't work. Since the car accident the relay system where if I click the lock button twice on the clicker, it will honk at me, it no longer honks. So I assume the anti theft system runs off the same relay system. Is there something I can do to fix that relay in the back door?The clicker works, it still locks and unlocks the car. However when you lock the car with the clicker it should automatically turn on the anti theft system the little red light should start blinking , and it doesn't. I can lock the car still but it doesn't honk at me when I click the lock button twice.
